Wait...She fiddled with the quartz beads that adorned her wrist as she sucked in air through her teeth. She had been waiting 45 minutes now, and felt herself losing the battle against the dreaded ennui that often plagued people in her position. She let out a sigh, how long could this really take?Wait...
The worst part of this waiting business, she decided 3 minutes later, was the silence. By now, it had begun to crackle and fizz, much like a blank television. Her mind itched and bristled at the lack of auditory stimulation.
There is a point, as many close to you will tell you, where one just cannot hold "something" in any longer.
